Privacy Policy
Last updated November 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Dovewood Capital, LLC, a Texas limited liability company doing business as WorkUnit Labs (“WorkUnit Labs,” “we,” “us”) handles information through workunitlabs.com and our invoice-processing service.
Information we collect
- Contact details you submit, such as your name, firm, work email, invoice volume, accounting software and any notes.
- Client documents you send for processing, such as invoices and the data they contain.
- Basic technical data such as approximate country and standard server logs from our hosting provider.
How we use it
We use contact details to respond to you and run your pilot or account. We use client documents only to produce the entries you asked for. We never use your documents or data to train AI models, and we do not sell personal information.
Sharing and subprocessors
We share data only with service providers that help us run the service:
- Cloudflare – website hosting, content delivery and storage of form submissions.
- An AI model provider – extraction of invoice fields, under terms that do not permit training on your data.
- Stripe (if used) – payment processing. We do not store full card numbers.
We will tell clients before adding a new subprocessor that handles client documents.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit over HTTPS, and access is limited to the people working on your account. See our Security page.
Retention and deletion
We keep client documents and outputs for the retention period agreed with each client, then delete them. You can ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing [email protected].
Breach notice
If we learn of a security incident affecting your data, we will notify you without undue delay and share what we know.
Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing [email protected].
Changes
We may update this policy and will post the new version here with a revised date.
