Terms of Service

Last updated November 2, 2026

These Terms govern your use of workunitlabs.com and the invoice-processing services provided by Dovewood Capital, LLC, a Texas limited liability company doing business as WorkUnit Labs (“WorkUnit Labs,” “we,” “us”). By using the service you agree to these Terms. A signed agreement with us, if any, takes precedence.

The service

We extract data from invoices you send, check it, and return entries ready to import into your accounting software. We prepare entries; you remain responsible for reviewing, posting and approving payments, and for any accounting judgments.

Billing

Your data

You keep ownership of your documents and the outputs we return. We use them only to provide the service, never to train AI models, as described in our Privacy Policy and DPA. You confirm you have the right to send us the documents you submit.

Acceptable use

Don't send unlawful content, attempt to disrupt the service, or use it for medical, legal, credit or hiring decisions.

Disclaimers and liability

Except as stated in these Terms, the service is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in the three months before the claim, and our sole remedy for an incorrect accepted invoice is a credit for that invoice. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Termination

Either party may stop using or providing the service at any time. On request we will delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Venue lies in the state or federal courts located in Tarrant County, Texas.
